    Role
    To manage the effective running and operations of food outlet, supply of food and beverages, and catering services, to ensure DUMC and all its ministries are supported, according to DUMC’s values and vision.

    Directly reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

    Key Accountabilities

    1. Manage staff, contractors and suppliers involved to ensure the efficient running of Dream Café and Village Coffee
    2. Provide advice and consultation on staff and food issues to the Management of both Café and DUMC
    3. Interview, hire, train, oversee
    4. Manage inventory, food and beverage orders, equipment, and supplies
    5. Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food
    6. Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas
    7. Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations
    8. Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
    9. Schedule staff hours and assign duties
    10. Maintain budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions
    11. Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service
