Pr Dr Lew Lee Choo
Pr Lee Choo is the Deputy Senior Pastor of SIBKL. She is a paediatrician and a graduate of University of Edinburgh Medical School. From 1978 to 1991, Pr Lee Choo and her husband worked as medical doctors in Sabah and also pioneered the SIB English Church in Kota Kinabalu. In 1993, she attended the Regent College Bible School, Vancouver and obtained a Diploma in Christian Studies.
Pr Lee Choo is a dynamic and much sought after speaker at Church Conferences and Church Camps both locally and overseas. Apart from her portfolio as the Deputy Senior Pastor, she also leads the prayer ministry, the performing arts ministry and the ladies and young adults ministry in SIBKL. She is married to Pr Dr Chew Weng Chee, Senior Pastor of SIBKL and has 2 sons, Jonathan and Christopher.
Pr Dr Chew Weng Chee
Pr Chew was a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist before he gave up his medical career to serve the Lord full time in 1999. He graduated with a Masters degree in Theology from the Regent College Bible School,Vancouver in 1993. Till March 2007, he was the President of the SIB (Sidang Injil Borneo), Semenanjung, overseeing 31 Bahasa Malaysia churches throughout West Malaysia. Pr Chew has ministered extensively in Conferences and Church Camps both locally and overseas and has written a book entitled, “Is Life Worth Living?”, a study on the Book of Ecclesiastes. Pr Chew is also the Senior Pastor of SIB (KL), a rapidly growing English congregation. Pr Chew is married to Pr Lee Choo.
