In Ezekiel 22, God was angry with the Jews for their wickedness. From the princes to the priest to the officials to the prophets and to all the people of the land; all have sinned. They have “all become dross” (v. 19). They have incurred the wrath of God and thus His judgement on the nation will come.
Jesus said to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. This book is a step in the direction of making the heart, soul, and mind connection because if we are to love God we must first know how good and beautiful our God is.
