SUMMARY:Equip - Every Member a Shepherd
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_inline=”no” text_larger=”no”]Caring for One Another in Your Cell Group\nChristian Leadership 201 \nNOTE: You will need to complete all the core courses under Level 1 before taking this course \nShepherding is not a title. It is a way of seeing — noticing who is struggling\, who is drifting\, who needs someone to simply show up. And in a cell church\, that calling belongs to every member\, not just the leader. \nEvery Member a Shepherd is for active cell members who want to carry that calling well. Two sessions. Honest reflection on what genuine care actually looks like — and what gets in the way. \nYou will leave with a clearer sense of who God is asking you to care for — and one concrete step toward caring for them. \nDates: 17 & 24 (2 sessions)\nTime: 9.00am-1.00pm (Saturdays)\nMode: In-person\nInstructors: Pr Mike Ngui[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”REGISTER HERE” color=”juicy-pink” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fforms%2Fd%2Fe%2F1FAIpQLSesIJT17baqq6UAC_s2soZ06WnF273taurXQ0oc7MLGlKCgJQ%2Fviewform|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Equip - The Psalms
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_inline=”no” text_larger=”no”] \nThematic Bible Study\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Book of Psalms contains a rich variety of prayers—from praise and thanksgiving to lament and petition—that give voice to the joys\, struggles\, and complexities of the life of faith. The Psalms uniquely serve a dual purpose: they are God’s Word to us while also providing words for us to speak to God. This is what gives the Psalms their timeless relevance. \nWhether in seasons of joy\, sorrow\, doubt\, or uncertainty\, the Psalms offer language that helps God’s people pray when they struggle to find their own words. Through this eight-week Equip Bible Study\, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Psalms and discover how they can enrich both their prayer life and their daily walk with God. \nEach session includes a short video teaching by a well-known biblical scholar\, followed by guided workbook exercises and interactive small-group discussions. \nThe Equip Psalm studies is suitable for all levels. Self-study before each session is encouraged to enrich discussions and deeper engagement with God’s Word . \nCost for workbook applies. \nDates: 6 Sep – 25 Oct (8 sessions)\nTime: 11.15am – 1.00pm (Sundays)\nMode: In-Person / Online\nInstructor: Brian D. SUMMARY:Expository Preaching Seminar 2026
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_inline=”no” text_larger=”no”] \n\nPreaching Jeremiah \nIf we want to gasp at the power and greatness of our God\, who is sovereign in both salvation and judgement\, then we need to pay more attention to the prophets! \nJeremiah is one of the most neglected books in the Old Testament\, and is often the source of much confusion. In this seminar\, we will discover from the book itself how to handle its message and develop strategies for preaching it in a way that both does justice to the world in which it was written and the fact that it points so strongly to the coming of Christ and the outpouring of the Spirit. \nWho is EPS for?\nThe Expository Preaching Seminar (EPS)\, organised in conjunction with the KVBC Bible Conferences\, is a seminar to serve and strengthen Malaysian church leaders dedicated to faithfully preaching God’s Word. It also serves as a refresher for seasoned preacher-teachers on principles and issues pertaining to expository ministry. It is also an ideal introduction to expository preaching for budding preacher-teachers of God’s Word. \nDate: 28 – 29 Jul\nTime: 9:00am – 1:00 pm\nVenue: Hall 4\, Dream Centre\, PJ\nSpeaker: Gary Millar\, Queensland Theological College\nCost: RM200 (Early bird before 6 July 2026: RM120) \n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”REGISTER HERE” color=”juicy-pink” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fcep.kvbctrust.org%2Feps2026|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Equip - IBS: 1 Timothy
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_inline=”no” text_larger=”no”]Inductive Bible Study \nWhat makes a church truly healthy?\nSize? Number of converts? Scale of events? \nPaul doesn’t measure church health the way modern church organisations do. In 1 Timothy\, written to a young pastor under pressure\, the focus is not expansion but faithfulness. Sound teaching over trends\, character over charisma\, godliness over optics. \nThis inductive study invites participants to observe\, interpret\, and apply the biblical text carefully\, engaging it in its original context\, and to consider how Scripture defines what it means to be a healthy church. \nThis class is suitable for all levels. \nEquip Bible studies are small group studies and require self-study prior to the lesson. Come prepared to engage and interact with instructors and students. \nCost for workbook applies. \nDates: 5 – 26 Jul (4 sessions)\nTime: 11.15am – 1.00pm (Sundays)\nMode: Online | DUMC@Puchong\nLead Facilitator: Eileen Wong \nEstimated Self-Study (est.):30 minutes per daily lesson (5 daily lessons a week)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”REGISTER HERE” color=”juicy-pink” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fforms%2Fd%2Fe%2F1FAIpQLSesIJT17baqq6UAC_s2soZ06WnF273taurXQ0oc7MLGlKCgJQ%2Fviewform|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Equip - Victory in Christ
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_inline=”no” text_larger=”no”]Christian Living 201 \nNOTE: You will need to complete all the core courses under Level 1 before taking this course. \nThe apostle Paul states that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood\, but against the rulers\, against the authorities\, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Eph 6:12\, NIV) Though the term ‘spiritual warfare’ is not found in the Bible\, it is clearly biblical. \nThis course seeks to equip participants to minister with authority and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ. We will look into the biblical basis of spiritual warfare and examine the different practical aspects of ministry in which we are engaged in spiritual warfare. \nDates: 4 & 11 Jul (2 sessions)\nTime: 9.00am – 1.00pm (Saturdays)\nMode: In-Person\nInstructors: Pr Chris Manivannan\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”REGISTER HERE” color=”juicy-pink” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fforms%2Fd%2Fe%2F1FAIpQLSesIJT17baqq6UAC_s2soZ06WnF273taurXQ0oc7MLGlKCgJQ%2Fviewform|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
