Street Ministry
The Street Ministry reaches out to the homeless, hungry and needy by extending a hand of help and friendship. We seek to let them know that there is hope and a future for them and that God is waiting to give them a new lease of life.
In Kuala Lumpur, we have KL Urban Fellowship or a KLUF Caring Hub to assist the homeless (street friends) in need. We work to create a safe environment that allows street friends to access resources and trained staff that can look into the person’s holistic well-being. To reach out in an effective and impactful way, we have a strong network of NGOs, churches and government agencies, specialists, and trained social workers; so that together we can cause change and transformation. The team also coordinates food-sharing programs, restorative strategies, dialogue sessions with street friends, etc.
