Hi friends,
Welcome to DUMC! I’m Pastor Ann.

DUMC is a church for everyone, across all generations.
In all that we do, we want to grow:

Deep in Christ,
Wide for Christ, and
Generational through Christ.

No matter your age, background, or season in life, we’re here to journey with you as you journey with God.

We’d love to meet you this weekend at one of our services, which we call ‘Celebration’, at Dream Centre in PJ. But we also meet in Puchong and Mutiara Damansara. Come by and say hi!

We pray you’ll encounter God in a real and personal way, and we’d love to get to know you… maybe even over a cup of coffee!

DUMC-க்கு உங்களை அன்புடன் வரவேற்கிறோம்! நான் Pastor Ann.

DUMC என்பது அனைத்து தலைமுறையினருக்கும் உரிய ஒரு திருச்சபையாகும். நாங்கள் செய்யும் அனைத்திலும், பின்வரும் விதங்களில் வளர விரும்புகிறோம்:

Our Statement of Faith

We Believe

  • In the Triune God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • That Jesus Christ is true God and true man.
  • That the Holy Spirit is a divine Person.
  • That the Old and New Testaments are God’s divinely inspired words.
  • That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation.
  • That salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all.
  • That it is the will of God that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit and lead a holy life.
  • That healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.
  • That the Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
  • That there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust.
  • In the personal, visible and imminent return of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

To evangelise the Klang Valley and to send missionaries to unreached people groups worldwide.

To disciple every believer into maturity in Christ and to be effective in the service of God.

To advocate community engagement in our nation, bringing God’s love and justice to a needy society.

In DUMC, our primary purpose is not to make nice religious Christians. It is to build passionate disciples of Jesus Christ. These purpose and takeaways are foundations in the way we do life as a church and live out the Great Commission that Christ has given to His disciples.

Honour

We are biblically centred and God honouring in everything that we do. When we honour Him, we honour those whom He loves. We cannot honour God and not honour people. And we cannot honour people without first giving God the honour.

கனம்

வேதாகமத்தை மையமாக வைத்து, நாம் செய்யும் எல்லாவற்றிலும் ஆண்டவரை கனப்படுத்துகிறோம். நாம் அவரைக் கனப்படுத்தும் போது அவர் நேசிப்பவர்களைக் கனப்படுத்துகிறோம். நாம் மக்களை கனப்படுத்தாமல் ஆண்டவரையும் கனப்படுத்த முடியாது மற்றும் ஆண்டவருக்கு முதலில் கனம் செலுத்தாமல் மக்களையும் கனப்படுத்த முடியாது.

Humility

We desire to grow in humility, which is in the character and model of Jesus as a servant leader. As we grow towards Christlikeness, humility expresses itself in submission to our Lord and Master. “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.” (Matthew 10:24 ESV)

தாழ்மை

ஒரு சேவகத் தலைவரான இயேசுவின் குணாதிசயத்திலும் மாதிரியிலும் இருந்தது, நாம் கிறிஸ்துவைப் போல் வளரும்போது, தேவனுக்கும் எஜமானுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிவதில்  நம் மனத்தாழ்மை வெளிப்படுகிறது. சீஷன் தன் போதகனிலும், வேலைக்காரன் தன் எஜமானிலும் மேற்பட்டவனல்ல. மத்தேயு 10 :24

Be Real

We are open and real about our lives. We create a non-judgemental atmosphere to allow each person to throw away their masks, including our own. Sharing our stories is therefore highly encouraged and will be a regular feature.

உண்மையாக இருத்தல்

நாங்கள் எங்கள் வாழ்க்கையைப் பற்றி வெளிப்படையாகவும் உண்மையாகவும் இருக்கிறோம். எங்கள் முகமூடிகள் உட்பட, ஒவ்வொரு நபரும் தங்கள் முகமூடிகளை தூக்கி எறிய அனுமதிக்கும் வகையில் நாங்கள் நியாயந்தீா்க்காத சூழ்நிலையை உருவாக்குகிறோம். எனவே எங்கள் கதைகளைப் பகிர்வது மிகவும் ஊக்குவிக்கப்படுகிறது மற்றும் வழக்கமான அம்சமாக இருக்கிறது.

Pass it on

We are imperfect, work-in-progress people. But take heart and remember the spirit of Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:12-14. As we become passionate disciples of Christ, we too will reproduce ourselves into the lives of others.

நாங்கள் முழுமையற்றவர்கள், முன்னேறி வருகிறவா்கள்.  ஆனால், பிலிப்பியர் 3:12-14ல் உள்ள அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுலின் ஆவியை நினைவுகூருங்கள். நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் தீவிர சீடர்களாக மாறும்போது, நாமும் மற்றவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையில் நம்மைப் பெருக்கிக்கொள்வோம்.

Fun

Fun doesn’t necessarily mean being comical or silly (though it is ok to be like that sometimes!). Doing ministry and serving others should come from His love for us and this love should overflow to others. So, let the joy be evident not only to others but to yourself too. Serve, eat, play, learn, and have fun!

Ultimately, everything we do must be done for the sake of the gospel. It must lead someone closer to Christ. And that’s what makes us DUMC!

மகிழ்ச்சி

மகிழ்ச்சி என்பது நகைச்சுவையாகவோ அல்லது வேடிக்கையாகவோ இருக்க வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை (சில நேரங்களில் அப்படி இருப்பது சரிதான்!). ஊழியம் செய்வதும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு சேவை செய்வதும் அவர் நம்மீது வைத்திருக்கும் அன்பிலிருந்து வர வேண்டும், இந்த அன்பு மற்றவர்களிடம் பொங்கி வழிய வேண்டும். எனவே, மகிழ்ச்சி மற்றவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, உங்களுக்கும் தெளிவாக இருக்கட்டும். சேவை செய்தல், சாப்பிடுதல், விளையாடுதல், கற்றுக் கொள்ளுதல், மகிழ்சியாய் இருத்தல்!

இறுதியில், நாம் செய்யும் அனைத்தும் நற்செய்திக்காக செய்யப்பட வேண்டும். அது கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நெருக்கமாக ஒருவரை வழிநடத்த வேண்டும். அதுதான் எங்களை DUMC -யாக உருவாக்குகிறது.
