One generation to another.<\/p>\n<p>The experts speak of a generation gap<br \/>Where the young and the old, never overlap<br \/>But the God who is Ancient brings us all together <br \/>Into one family, all children of The Father<br \/>By the power of His Spirit, He has made us one body<br \/>And we need each other in order to be holy<\/p>\n<p>Can we get past the clothes, go beyond the sounds <br \/>To the one place of our common ground<br \/>Where our sins were forgiven, both young and old<br \/>At the foot of the cross, let the story be told<br \/>Of the Saviour who died, his blood overflowed<br \/>that we might be one, a family whole<\/p>\n<p>Reach out a hand to a brother or a sister<br \/>Younger or older, it doesn&#8217;t really matter<br \/>Whatever you have, is precious to share<br \/>Across the generations, let us be there<br \/>reaching across the gap, say to one another<br \/>You are loved by your Father, let me be your brother<\/p>\n<p>We are living for<br \/>The glory of the Lord<br \/>Hearts are open wide<br \/>We&#8217;re ready for You<br \/>There&#8217;s nothing we want more<br \/>You&#8217;re all that we adore<br \/>Jesus here we are<br \/>Ready for You<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every local church is the body of ChristWhere the young and the old, worship side by side.
