Key Accountabilities

- Equipment Management: Ensuring the proper functioning of AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and lighting
- Installation and Setup: Setting up AV equipment for events, meetings, presentations, and other functions, ensuring that all technical aspects are working correctly
- Technical Support: Providing technical support during events, addressing any issues that arise with AV systems, and troubleshooting problems quickly and efficiently
- Maintenance: Regularly maintaining and servicing AV equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of the technology.
- Training: Training staff and clients on how to use AV equipment properly and safely
- Event Coordination: Coordinating with event planners, clients, and other stakeholders to understand their AV needs and ensuring that these requirements are met
- Budget Management: Managing the budget for AV equipment, including purchasing new equipment and managing inventory
- Innovation and Upgrades: Staying updated on the latest AV technologies and trends and recommending upgrades or new purchases to improve the AV capabilities of the organization
- Documentation: Keeping detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and technical issues to ensure efficient management and troubleshooting
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all AV setups comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
