Communities are a platform by which the church could engage in living out the second Greatest Commandment; to love our neighbours as ourselves. Apart from spending time with His disciples, Jesus exemplified this by ministering to the sick, poor, and hungry all around Him.
In the challenging climate we are living in right now, many individuals are suffering not only financially but also in their physical health. SERVE was a strategy developed specifically to respond to needs like these, by mobilising the Cell Groups in the church.
To fulfill the objectives of IMPACT Now, DUMC is partnered with organisations that are currently engaged in ministering towards individuals with a variety of needs in different communities. You can take part in serving the needy by signing up with SERVE Coordinators. We encourage participation by Cell Groups.
