In Nehemiah 8, Ezra read the Law to the people and they listened, understood, and responded. Paul later told Timothy to “devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture” (1 Timothy 4:13)

Public reading places the church together under God’s Word – to be taught, corrected, encouraged, and shaped as one body

As part of our season of fasting and praying, we are setting aside time for Scripture to be read aloud over the church
