It has been a long wait for the ‘rain’ as we call it due to uncertainties in our business in the service industry of real estate ever since 2021 towards the end of the pandemic. Even globally the parent company faced challenges due to uncertainties in economies worldwide. Yet because the parent company’s founder is a faithful believer and practitioner of the Christian faith, thus all who are trusting and having complete hope and faith in God remain to this day. A time of shaking and sieving seems to be happening. Those who do not know the Lord are anxious and feel threatened but those who trust in Him stay close and wait.
As the economies all over the world are also affected, naturally we are also affected. But in keeping focus on God’s Word and promise to never leave nor forsake us, I can truly testify that to this day my family members and I have never lacked as His providence is sufficient and abundant in many ways.
As I continue to focus on the Lord and His Word, I can find peace and calm in all circumstances even though at times we are anxious when we had waited for a long time and the storehouse seemed to be getting a little empty. That is when it struck me whether I am focused on the worldly gains more than on God. Yet, the Holy Spirit reminds me time and again to trust the Lord and focus on things above.
Our focus was put to the test when a missionary friend reached out for financial aid for her work in the mission field. Although we had only received a small amount sufficient for our needs, we decided to bless her so that her needs and work can be blessed. Our God is mighty to save indeed; as we bless her, another colleague who had sold a property decided to bless us for recommending a client to her and she had closed a sale. Even now we look to help another sister-in-Christ to find a suitable place to rent as the landlord has sold the house they are renting.
During this season of time, God seems to be showing us that we need to reach out and help others where we can as Jesus had also ministered to the Samaritans when He was born a Jew. May the Lord lead us to those who have lost hope and are hurting in their lives so that we can be the vessel for God to use in bringing His Love to our community and workplace. Daily we pray and let the Holy Spirit lead us to those who need His Love and care in our workplace, community and the family of God. May He be glorified in all things.
