Spiritual Warfare 201
NOTE: Successful completion of both Prayer 101 and Ministry 201 is pre-requisite to attending this course, due to the nature of the subject.
The apostle Paul states that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Eph 6:12, NIV) Though the term ‘spiritual warfare’ is not found in the Bible, it is clearly biblical.
This course seeks to equip participants to minister with authority and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ. We will look into the biblical basis of spiritual warfare and examine the different practical aspects of ministry in which we are engaged in spiritual warfare.

Drawing on the imagery of the natural rhythms of the created order, this course explores the practices that spiritual seekers and growing disciples have used throughout history to grow closer to God. In a similar way, the disciplines of the spiritual life are the basic components of the rhythm of intimacy that feeds the soul, keeping Christians open and available to God’s surprising initiative in their lives.
In six sessions, this course will guide you in a way that links the disciplines of the Christian faith to the most compelling desires of the human soul. Each session offers teaching (video and live) and spiritual guidance on specific practices, allowing you to experience each discipline and incorporate it into your life.

A book-by-book summary is provided for a better understanding of the message of the Bible and its interconnectedness.

Doctrine plays a vital role in a Christian’s life because it is essential for developing a deep relationship with God, one which glorifies and delights in Him. It helps to grow our knowledge of the Christian faith and guards us from false teachings and wrong assumptions about God.
The purpose of this course is to introduce some of the foundational beliefs and teachings of the Christian faith, which include what we believe, the life we live, and our future hope.

Let’s be honest: the Old Testament seems so complicated with lineages, stories, and laws that it can be hard to make sense of God’s bigger story. In Epic of Eden, Dr. Sandra Richter jumps into the Old Testament to tell a history of God’s redeeming grace, weaving together a story that runs from the Garden of Eden to the garden of the New Jerusalem.

The Bible is the special revelation of God, giving us personal knowledge and life-giving truth abou this Creator God, who is good, who redeems his people, and establishes covenants with them. God’s word forms us and shapes us into the truest version of ourselves—his image-bearers, reflecting his life to the world. Therefore, it is crucial for us to read the Bible well and transformed by it.
Through this course you will get to know your Bible, learn to read it well, and cultivate a rhythm of Bible reading. Let’s heed the words of Jesus when he responded to Satan’ temptation by quoting Deuteronomy 8:3: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
