What made you choose to take up the role as the co-producer/director?
Honestly, when I was approached to take up the role of co-producer, I was overwhelmed at the enormity of the responsibility and commitment expectations. But I chose to say “yes” in spite of my fears because I remembered how blessed I felt when I played a part in last year’s Christmas Production and, in turn, I wanted to share this blessing with others. It also allowed me to share God’s love with everyone through artistic and musical expression, for which I am deeply passionate about. – Lee Chengrui
I was motivated by Pastor Chris Kam early this year when he encouraged everyone to Step Up. I wanted to step up too, but I hesitated to take action. While I was still wondering, God sent Jonathan Soo, Producer of Christmas Production to approach me. At the same time, God spoke to me, “Lead young generation.” I always remember how God saved me and changed my life. I thank God for giving me a chance to lead the production as the Director. Therefore, with my strengths and experiences, I want to create a production that allows God to touch the people’s life. – Lee Ping Yin
