“Lord my God, I called to you for help, and You healed me.” – Psalm 30:2
Last year, I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck. I experienced a dull ache and pulling sensation from my cheek to my shoulder blade, which lasted 24/7 every day. Specialists told me that this condition was irreversible, and despite spending a lot of money on different remedies like acupuncture and physiotherapy, the results were short-lived.
Since then, I have been praying for healing, and my arm has been getting weaker, making it difficult to carry my son for long periods. However, I remembered the scripture that says God’s grace is sufficient for me, so I wondered whether I should fervently seek healing from the Lord or not.
Last Saturday, during a sermon, Pastor Chris made an altar call for someone who needs healing but knows that modern medical science cannot cure their condition. I asked the Lord for a sign of confirmation, which was to send a lady to the altar to pray. After a while, Pastor Sylvia came to the altar and started praying. I went up, and two sisters in Christ approached me, laying their hands on me and praying for my condition.
After I left the hall, the dull ache and pulling sensation on my left cheek started to disappear, and I could feel a tingling sensation in that area. My cheek muscles began to loosen up, and I could carry my son that night too. The experience was unreal, and I am grateful to the Lord beyond words. All glory and praise be unto the Lord, for He is faithful, and He hears and answers our prayers.
