In my role at Resonate Academy, I organize various workshops and classes to equip believers with skills and empower them to serve effectively in worship. The recent Tone & Harmony vocal workshop had me facing a dilemma. We were one participant short of meeting the minimum target required to conduct the session. It left me with a tough decision to make: should we proceed or postpone the workshop?
As the day approached, I couldn’t shake off a sense of unease. The shortfall in registrations weighed on my mind, casting a shadow over my anticipation for the workshop. It was a challenging situation, to say the least.
However, just before the workshop began, Juwita Suwito, who was facilitating the workshop, began to share her recent experience. She shared how, at a recent Vox Fest, God had not only met her expectations but had exceeded slightly more than their target. She spoke about how God had seemingly whispered to her, reassuring her with the words, “I’ve got your back.”
Hearing Juwita’s testimony was a source of both inspiration and comfort to me. Despite my lingering concerns about the workshop’s attendance, I couldn’t help but rejoice with her. It was a timely reminder that even in our moments of uncertainty, God is orchestrating events behind the scenes.
With Juwita’s words still resonating in my heart, we were about to begin the workshop. And then, something extraordinary happened. Just as the workshop was about to kick off, we were graced with a surprise. Walk-in participants arrived, filling the gap and surpassing our minimum target! It was as if God was affirming and whispering: “I’ve got your back.”
The assurance that He’s got my back was real! When I had surrendered my doubts and fears and allowed Him to take charge, the situation had turned around in the most unexpected and miraculous way.
