DUMC STORIES: SUNITHA ITTADI

My journey to Malaysia was a desperate escape from the pains of my past. With little more than hope, I trusted God every step of the way, believing that this journey held a purpose beyond my understanding.

In the first month of pursuing my Masters, God’s hand manifested miraculously. A part-time job at the university opened unexpected doors, leading to engagements in tuition and teaching at a tuition centre. In May 2018, just before completing my Master’s, a remarkable job opportunity at UCSI International School, Springhill Campus, marked the beginning of God’s divine plan for my life.

As days passed, God not only helped me in clearing my financial debts but also unfolded the unthinkable. In the midst of this journey, HE orchestrated a beautiful story, leading me to a wonderful, godly husband in Malaysia. This union became a testament to God’s power of restoration, healing the wounds of my past and providing a partner with whom I could wholeheartedly serve Him in DUMC ISM (International Student Ministry)

Four years into a marriage founded on God’s grace, I confidently declare that I am a living testimony of His healing, restoration, renewal, and release for ministry. The pain that once drove me to this foreign land has been replaced with purpose, joy, and an unwavering faith in the One who orchestrates our destinies.

As my husband and I serve God together, we stand in awe of the incredible journey He has led us through. Our lives are living proof that God is not just a restorer but a transformer, turning ashes into beauty and despair into a testimony of His boundless love and faithfulness of our lord Jesus Christ.

I am eternally grateful for the tapestry of grace that now defines my life—a masterpiece woven by the hands of a loving and faithful God.
